My Favorite Airbnbs I Stayed in Last Year

best airbnbs

It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Airbnb. And it’s not only about the prices, I really enjoy staying somewhere that makes me feel like I’m part of the city that I’m visiting (whether that be a small town in Southern France or a mini goat ranch in Southern California).

So, here were some of my favorite Airbnb stays of 2019:

This Rustic Roof Deck Paradise in Antibes, France

$57/night

I realized how much I like watching the sunset over the roof tops of Southern France when I was visiting Cannes, so I made sure to get a place with this view when I continued down the coast. Plus, for only $57 a night I had my own patio and front seats to the show.

This Modern Farm House in Wine Country Temecula

$135/night

Sometimes I leave Airbnb’s feeling inspired, and this was one of those times. This modern farmhouse had a glass wall that opened the living room up to the patio and a gorgeous vineyard view. Each room was themed, and as you probably guessed, ours was Alice in Wonderland. If those two features didn’t sell it for me, the mini goats on the property really did.

This Mountainside Cabin in the Colorado Rockies

$150/night

I needed somewhere to stay before I hiked my first 14ers in Colorado (which were Grays Peak and Torreys Peak). This was one of the cutest spots I found, nestled into the mountain side with ski lodge decor and a grill to make steaks 🙂

This Lakeview Cottage in Seward Alaska

It’s hard to find a place with a bad view in Seward. But this place had a balcony looking over the water, making even Monday mornings seem pleasant.

I always thought mountain view and ocean view houses were the best, but horse view may be my favorite.

This Swanky Getaway on Lake Wanaka

$158/night

If I had to buy one house right now….. this would be a top contender. Not only is Wanaka one of the prettiest places I’ve ever been, but the houses here are exquisite. Not to mention, I’m a sucker for well put together outdoor spaces & hot tubs.

This Ocean Side Studio in Bondi Beach

$53/night

I like Australia’s minimalist decor schemes. Aussie’s can even make a studio apartment look cute and welcoming. I also can’t argue with a beach front apartment that’s $53/night.

This Patio Oasis Near the Auckland Airport

$140/night NZ

I needed somewhere close to the Auckland airport to stay since I was arriving after 11pm. I wasn’t looking for anything special and just booked the closest place to the airport that I found. It ended up being a really nice spot. Although I didn’t have time to hang out on the patio, I did have time to take a bath in their large jacuzzi.

This Quaint Getaway in Portland Maine

best airbnbs

“Nothing matches but somehow everything goes together so well” were my first words when we entered this Portland apartment. It was exactly what I pictured living in Maine to be like.. and only a walk away from some of the breweries in town 😉

That’s a wrap on my favorite airbnbs this year! If you have any questions about using airbnb, feel free to comment below!
