We walked along Playa Pelada which is a smaller beach cove trapped in by rocks. Playa Pelada was interesting because the sand consisted of rather large pieces of shells which made the beach look more colorful.

Strolling along Playa Pelada, our real goal was to get to Playa Guiones to get some lunch and watch the sunset. We started off with a few drinks at the Gilded Iguana.

Playa Guiones has a more “classic sunset”, the kind of sunset you think up in your head when someone says the word. Think of a simple bright orange sun setting over the ocean horizon.
